AAT Australia's self employed members who contract directly to clients for the provision of bookkeeping services can now access an Engagement Letter Template that can be customised to suit the particular terms and scope of services covering specific engagements.
A Letter of Engagement is a document recording the agreement between both parties - the bookkeeper and their client - to ensure that they understand their respective obligations to one another and the general terms governing their relationship.
As part of your AAT Australia membership, all Members (AAT) and Fellows (AATF), are permitted to use the AAT Australia Logo on business cards, letterhead, with compliment slips and other corporate stationery.
Public Practice Member's are able to use a specially made Public Practice Member logo to use on stationery in addition to the AAT Australia logo.
AAT Australia’s web-based ‘Find-a-Bookkeeper’ feature is a no-cost, business-generation service designed to help members attract new business. Please note that this service is only available to full members of AAT Australia.

AAT Australia is pleased to announce the introduction of new cost-effective professional indemnity insurance for our members to assist them to comply with proposed legislative requirements. In collaboration with leading insurance broker Fenton Green & Co and Lloyd’s of London we have developed a cover that is tailored to the needs of self employed bookkeepers.
Pay just $295 (excl. GST) If the total gross service fees billed to clients does not exceed $75,000 per annum over the period of the insurance for a sum insured of $1,000,000.
Pay just $395 (excl. GST) If the total gross service fees billed to clients does not exceed $300,000 per annum over the period of the insurance for a sum insured of $1,000,000.
Pay just $495 (excl. GST) If the total gross service fees billed to clients does not exceed $500,000 per annum over the period of the insurance for a sum insured of $1,000,000.
In the case of bookkeepers whose gross fee billings exceed $500,000, insurance cover and premiums will be subject to individual negotiation.
